My story
I've always been interested in health and genetics and studied Biology at University College London. I then trained as a broadcast journalist with a health specialism and had a ten year career in television news. Life was frantic, and my diet consisted of bars of chocolate and ready made sandwiches, when I had the time to eat them.
After my third child was born, I decided to take a complete break from my career and focus on raising my family. Unfortunately, I had to undergo two surgeries within six months of each other and this resulted in a rapid decline in my health, gut and energy levels. After several visits to various specialists, I began to heal myself through food and lifestyle. Discovering the power of nutrition led me to a four-year professional diploma at the renowned Institute for Optimum Nutrition, and I haven’t looked back since.
I am registered with the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT), the professional body for registered nutrition practitioners, as well as the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
Treating each client as an individual and addressing the root cause rather than just their symptoms is what I passionately believe in. Hormonal imbalances, IBS, weight gain, food intolerances, poor sleep and low energy are just some of the areas I can help you with.
