Tahini is a paste made from ground sesame seeds. It is a favourite dip in the Mediterranean and the Middle East. An excellent source of calcium, this dip can help keep your bones healthy and strong.

Ingredients
- ½ cup runny tahini (I like Achva or Baracke)
- ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
- ½ cup of water, plus more as needed
- 1 small garlic clove
- small handful of parsley with stems removed (leave a little aside to serve)
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
Method
- Place all the ingredients in a blender and whizz it up, adding more water if the consistence is too thick
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley to serve

Drizzle over eggs, salad, cooked vegetables or meat to give a rich flavour
