Iced banana and matcha latte

Matcha is a powdered green tea containing 137 more antioxidants than regular brewed green tea. Unlike regular tea, matcha contains high levels of L-theanine, known to be highly stress reducing. Studies have also shown that matcha can help alleviate symptoms of polycystic ovaries (PCOS).

Ingredients

  • 1 medium banana
  • ¾ tsp matcha powder
  • 200ml milk or milk alternative
  • 3 ice cubes

Method

  1. Mix all the ingredients together in a blender and enjoy

Always try to buy an organic ceremonial matcha which is higher grade and purer in quality. The more vibrant and lime green the powder, the better.
